“The best stroked putt in a lifetime does not bring the aesthetic satisfaction of a perfectly hit wood or iron shot. There is nothing to match the whoosh and soar, the almost magical flight of a beautifully hit drive or 5-iron.” – Al Barkow
“You fight, you try your best but if you lose you don’t have to break five racquets and smash up the locker room. You can do those things but when you’ve finished, nothing’s changed. You’ve still lost. If something positive came from that, I probably would do it. But I see only negativity.” – Rafael Nadal
Telling everyone that you meet (who will listen) how bad your game is!
The reason for that as you may recall is that the sheer repetition of saying that sort of thing to other golfers – will eventually end up convincing your sub-conscious mind that you are indeed a bad golfer
Which as you will have worked out by reading the post I suggested to read near the end – will result in your golf game descending into a never ending…
“I’m certainly not a saint out there on the golf course. In fact, far from it. Like when you make a three-putt and become upset. I take one step back and remember there are more important things going on in the world than golf.” – Bernhard Langer
“A lot of people look at the negative things, the things that they did wrong – which I do sometimes. But I also like to stress on the things I did right, because there are certain things that I like to look at from a positive standpoint that are just positive reinforcement.” – Tiger Woods
