Like all the other bits of ‘public information’ that I have written about previously

Keeping the head down, keeping the head still, keeping your left arm straight and taking the club straight back away from the ball

Transferring your weight to hit the ball as you start the downward action

Is a piece of advice most golfers take too literally

By the way if you are wondering why I use the term ‘downward action’

Instead of the more commonly understood term ‘downswing’ – you can see why here
