In the post Do you really need golf lessons? I began to answer the question

By firstly having a look at just exactly what a golf lesson actually is

I had managed to figure out that there are effectively only four main types of golf lesson

The first type of which I classified as ‘information delivery’

Most commonly involving newer golfers being given the basics of the game of golf

In a single or possibly series of lessons that are effectively led by the golf teacher

Spending most of their time either explaining or demonstrating

What the golfers need to do to develop a base level of golf skill
